We arrived at the Everglades today! It’s hot, humid, and
seems like a fabulous National Park! We can’t wait to dig in! We biked/ walked
to the Visitor Center, and once we got there we figured out it was closed!
Whoops! We got bitten alive! We can’t wait to start exploring!

Overnight at the Casino…..
We stayed overnight at a Casino on our way to the
Everglades. Casinos let you stay overnight for free with the bare minimum. It’s
a nice place to stay for a quick stop.
With tons of security! Well let’s just say we are in Florida and it’s
hot and humid, and it doesn’t cool down for a long time. And “Whose big idea is
this,” got thrown around a few times! J
Mostly by the kids! Well we survived and had a few more stories to tell. J We headed out Early
that morning and made our way to the Everglades!
Rocket Blast Off!
The rocket blast off was AMAZING!! After a delayed flight it
took off and lit up the sky! It was very fast. As it went across the sky it
disappeared into what looked like a hole!! Incredible! There was a great crowd, and everyone clapped
and cheered as it went up, and disappeared.
It was really amazing!

Today was an Ocean filled day! We went in the morning to avoid the heat, and picked up some great waves! Come lunch time we went for our February treat to Papa Fidos, an Italian restaurant. We loved it! We got lots of food, even the waitress warned us about how much food we were getting! ;) We brought home some yummy leftovers, check dinner off the list! After lunch we did some school, and went for another swim. Yay! So much fun!! Here’s some of our ocean fun:

from Kennedy space center! We are big fans! Can’t wait!!!!
Saltwater, Sand, Sunburned, and Shopping...
Saltwater, Sand, Sunburned, and Shopping, sums up our fun day! We headed out to the beach for an early swim which is about five minute walk away. And then headed shopping! The boys have found a new hobby which they love. Collecting football cards! The girls decided to head on over to Target and WalMart( Mom went to Walmart to get food and things.) to pick up some stuff for a surprise that we are making! ( Surprise will be revealed soon!) And there was a Starbucks in Target. Yes, we did get something. And yes, I got a caramel Frappuccino! Yum! We came back, and enjoyed another wonderful swim!

Ocean!
Another day, in beautiful sunshine and warm Florida! We are really loving it here! Today was a school, boogie boarding, and town day! Our parents decided to head out to town to fix dad's bike, pick up our mail, and exc. We did school, went boogie boarding, body surfing, and crashing into the waves on our raft! Unfortunately I haven't even had my boogie board for a whole day and it broke! That's what you get for $15. We had a fun time body surfing, and raft riding! Patrick and I still stayed out for awhile while everyone was already back at the camper! We are really like ocean life! Can't wait till tomorrow for another ocean filled day!!!!

5 Things we are learning while in Florida!
Hello..
Hello! You might be wondering what happened?! Where's the blogger? Long story short. We spent a relaxing five days in Ocala. Hiking, biking, and swimming in the clearest lake water I have ever seen. We met friends, and loved our campground. Today, we moved on and headed to warm water. And when there's warm water there's BOOGIE BOARDING!!!! I bought a boogie board on our stop at Walmart, and we got some new swimsuits! We had a great time boogie boarding, and can't wait till tomorrow!

Naval Space Musuem....
We headed over to the Naval Space Museum. Sadly Melissa was under the weather so she didn't come. It is the most visited museum in Florida. It was huge. They have everything from spacecraft's, to the lunar module. Being big fans of all the space flights and things, we all loved seeing the stuff. We stayed here for about 2 hours. Patrick and I were thinking about going on this space ride in which you pay six dollars per person till we figured out that you can't actually man it. The one you can man was to expensive. But hey, we didn't need any spacecraft ride. We got to see space crafts, sit in interactive planes, and walk through a retro town! All inside this ginormous museum! And yes Patrick and I did get lost! ;) After the museum we headed over two a card shop. ( this has become Patrick's new obsession collecting football cards!) We picked up a few cards and headed back home. Melissa enjoyed the peace and quiet to herself while she caught up on journaling and relaxed. A great day for all!

Patrick got football cards!( Melissa is still holding out for her Starbucks!) It
was a win-win! It’s freezing here in Florida. Today it’s a pretty steady
49(degree’s) It was way too cold to go biking!
Biking away in Florida!
Today I went out for my morning bike ride! I love the rides
that I have! Ate breakfast, and started school. Went out for another ride and
found a great trail! I can’t wait to do the whole loop! After I did some more
school, Patrick and I decided to bike up to the Visitor Center. On the way to
it you bike through Fort Pickens. We walked in and while looking at the
identification of shells a lady and I got into a wonderful conversation about
shells! We biked back and finished school for the day! As you can imagine there
were a few bike rides in between! But overall a great day for school, and
