Welcome to Washington!

 Welcome to Washington!

Our first stop in Washington was Spokane. In Spokane we stayed at Deer Park. Deer Park was very unique. Why? Skateboarders staying out at the skateboard park for many hours that nobody I mean nobody wanted to stay outside except the brave (mom) and we thought that was bad. No-no wait till it was time to sleep. We woke up to the water sprinkler; it was like someone was spraying our trailer with a fire hose. (That’s putting it nicely) And what beats all, it was at 2:00.  We went to the library, and got some library books out. We told them where we were staying. The librarian said” I never saw anybody stay there.” We knew why. But things get better fast! We got to go to the beautiful gardens of Spokane. Walking around you get to go to all the gardens, for free. We went to the Rose Garden, and the Japanese Garden. They were beautiful! Our next stop when we went site seeing was the city of Spokane. I got to ride the Merry Go Round! I had so much fun! I picked out my horse, jumped on, and away we went! I figured out that when you go around they put out this little pole; you stick out your hand and try to get as many rings as you can. If you get a bronze one you get to ring you get to ride again. I really enjoyed my ride! After that we climbed and rode the Radio Flyer! It was really fun. We also walked around and saw the clock tower. Spokane was where the World Fair was. We got to see some of the remains of it. After that we went to the College to see the Bing Crosby Museum. We went at the peak of lunch hour; it was pretty crowded with all the College students. That equals embarrassed kids. We enjoyed seeing it, because we are pretty big fans of his.  We really enjoyed our site seeing in Spokane!
